The Greater Harmony Chorus invites women of all ages to join us at our Tuesday evening rehearsals. Vocal warm-ups begin at 6:45 p.m. and singing ends at 9:45 p.m. Singing 4-part harmony barbershop style is an exciting hobby for women who want to sing, dance, compete, and wear fabulous costumes. You don't have to be an experienced singer or know how to read music. Reading music isn't necessary as learning is done by tapes. Holding your part against three others creates the challenge and the thrill. Come see . . . or sing . . . for yourself! If you are looking for an opportunity for personal growth and yearn for knowledge, GHC can provide this and so much more. You will receive ongoing vocal instruction taught by our own music staff and by trained coaches to add to our vocal and visual performances. We have a world-renowned coach with us every week, who also just happens to be our director, Bonnie McKibben. After receiving this newfound knowledge, you get to strut your stuff by performing on stage. You will also make life-long friendships and create memories to last a lifetime. How to find us at Richland Middle School, 702 Warrendale Road, Gibsonia, PA
Exit I-79 north, at Warrendale
(approx. driving time is 10-15 minutes)Turn right onto the Red Belt. Follow the Red Belt for 4.5 miles through Treesdale plan of homes (Be sure to watch for Red Belt signs - at one point the Red Belt takes a sharp left turn under the Turnpike)
Pine-Richland High School is on the right side.
Continuing to the the Middle School
Pass
High School entrance and continue to stop sign.
Turn
right onto Babcock Blvd./Orange Belt.
Take
next right onto Logan Road.
From Exit 39, PA Turnpike - Butler Valley Exit
(approx. driving time 15 minutes)
Take
Rt. 8 north.
Turn
left at 4th traffic light (Rt. 910)
Turn
right onto Meridian Rd. at the second traffic light.
Go to
end of Meridian Rd. Turn left onto Bakerstown Rd. (Red
Belt).
Continue on Red Belt to stop sign.
Continue straight to next stop sign at traffic island.
Bear
right. High School is 300yds. on the left side.
Continuing to the the Middle School
At
traffic island stop sign, continue straight on Babcock
Blvd.
Turn
right onto Logan Rd.
How to find us at Glade Run Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, Valencia, PA: Glade Run is centrally located on Route 8 (Pittsburgh Road) in Middlesex Township, Valencia, Pennsylvania, USA. If traveling south on Route 8 from Butler or Saxonburg, the church complex is located on your left, one-half mile south of the Route 228 East and Route 8 interchange. If traveling north on Route 8 (from Pittsburgh or Cranberry) The church complex is on your right, one mile north from the Route 228 West and Route 8 interchange (or 7 miles north of the PA turnpike exit 4).
How to find us at Richland Elementary School, 3811 Bakerstown Road, Gibsonia, PA: From Turnpike: Exit 3/Cranberry. Travel south on Rt. 19 to Warrendale Rd. (Red Belt). Turn left and proceed east for approximately 5 miles. You will pass Treesdale and Pine Richland High School. At the stop sign turn left onto Babcock. At the "Y" in the road bear to the right and follow for ~3 miles (this is still the red belt). The elementary school will be on your right. Join us in the auditorium. From the North Hills: 19N to Warrendale. Turn right onto Warrendale Bakerstown Road/ follow red belt signs. You are on this road for ~5 miles, and you will pass Treesdale and Pine Richland High School. At the stop sign turn left onto Babcock.
From Rt. 8: Take Rt. 910 (Orange Belt)
west to second traffic light (by Stop 'n Go).
Turn
right onto Meridian Rd. At end of Meridian, turn right.
Entrance to Richland Elem. and Stadium is approx. 200 yds.
on the right.
From I-79: Take Wexford exit (#22) from
I-279 N. Travel east on Rt. 910 (Orange Belt) approx. 5
miles to the 4-way stop sign intersection of Babcock Blvd.
Turn left onto Babcock Blvd. Continue straight. At
7-Eleven bear right onto Red Belt (east). Follow Red Belt
(Bakerstown Rd.) approx. 3 miles. Entrance to Richland
Elem. and Stadium is on the right.
From Turnpike: Exit 39, Butler Valley.
Travel north on Rt. 8 to 4th traffic light at intersection
of Rt. 910 (Orange Belt). Turn left. Follow directions as
from Rt. 8.
