January is worldwide Sweet Adelines open house month and Greater Harmony Chorus is offering free singing lessons to women 18 and over every Tuesday evening in January, beginning January 3, 2012, as part of Greater Harmony Chorus’ Open House Month at our regular rehearsal location, Winchester Thurston North Campus. Guests are welcome to attend as many Open House sessions as they want to. The final Open House session, Jan. 31st, will be a party with food and, of course, lots of singing. Guests will participate in vocal and physical warmups with the chorus on the risers, then will have informal voice lessons with one of our assistant directors.  After the lesson guests are welcome to stay and sing with the chorus.  Join us and find out how sweet singing can be!
